T-Zone
Kids too are feeling the effects of our faster paced, changing world. With friends and family issues, pressures from school, and life decisions to make, they too need a "space to figure it all out." Meditation is a great tool to help with everyday pressures, relieving stress and anxiety, and opening us to explore creative options.
To help our teen population, we are offering FREE meditation geared towards teens. Each Wednesday for the next 4 weeks at 7pm Pacific time we will meet via the telephone for information and a guided imagery meditation. The meditation is a great way to quiet the left brain, the part of our brain that works on figuring everything out, so we engage the creative efforts and higher faculties of the right brain. I wish I had learned these techniques when I was a teenager!
Classes held Wednesday May 19th, 26th, June 2nd, and 9th, 2010.
Each call teaches teens how to manage the chatter of the left brain which is intrenched in analyzing instead of allowing creative input of the right brain. Our classes and meditation help:
- improve confidence
- provide insight into problems
- assist with testing anxiety
- release emotional distress and anger
- reach peak performance during athletic events
Many professional athletes, film stars, and music icons use meditation to reach peak performance. You too can learn to tap into your natural energy flow and get the results you want.
